Material
Polyvinylidenefluoride PVDF is especially resistant to corrosives and aliphatic, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, carboxylic acids, alcohol and mercaptanes hydrocarbons. PVDF is not resistant to alkaline amines, alkalis and alkaline metals.

Tubes to use
Tolerance complying tubes and hoses with clean surface and uniform wall thickness. See also chapter on tubes and hoses.

Tapered male threads
For sealing the male threads we recommend the PTFE tape AC 840/841 or the sealing stick “Plasto-Joint” AC 833.

FDA-Compliance
Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) complies with the CFR 21 (Code of Federal Regulations), § 177.2510 of FDA (Food and Drug Administration, USA) and can be used in contact with food.
